Flue Suppliers

Corinium Flue Systems have been selling flue supplies for woodburning stoves and gas fires in the South West since 1986. We now also provide this service online across Great Britain, so you can purchase any type of flue supplies at a time that is convenient for you. Whether you need a flue system for a masonry chimney, a twin wall flue for a property with no chimney or simply some vitreous enamel flue pipe to connect to the main flue system, we can help! Our comprehensive experience means we have the expertise to also advise you on the correct flue for your property, making sure the flue for the stove is appropriate for the application and the correct flue system design to comply with building regulations.

Your solid fuel appliance and flue system, whether its a flue liner or a twin wall flue system, should be fitted by a HETAS registered engineer and your gas appliance and flue system by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We can offer an installation service in the areas of Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Forest of Dean, Bath and Bristol, using our own team of HETAS and Gas Safe registered engineers.

If you have any questions about any of our products, whether it’s about the right chimney cowls or chimney pots, the difference between our roof flashing, or would like any advice, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01285 861099 or via our contact form.

Choosing the Best Flue Supplies for Your Stove

When choosing flue supplies for your stove, it is important to make the right choices. Some types of supply may not be suitable for all flue systems. On top of this, it is important to ensure you buy good quality supplies from a trusted supplier. This will help ensure that your stove keeps working at maximum efficiency, with no flaws or leakage of gases.

Flue Safety

Many people aim to improve their stove’s safety when buying flue supplies. This can be true for people whose flue systems have become leaky, or those who simply want to ensure that there is no danger of gases starting to leak through in the future. In these cases, a good-quality flue liner will be required. Flue liners are fitted to the inside of the flue and prevent gases from leaking out. They also help to prevent wear and tear, keeping flue in good working order, and offer a number of other advantages such as improved draw.

Improving Draw

Better draw means that smoke will be more readily pulled up through the flue and leave your home through the chimney. This prevents unpleasant smoke and, in some cases, dangerous gases from hanging around in the room. Installing a taller, longer flue can improve draw, but you should think carefully before doing this as a flue system that is too tall will have the opposite effect. Fitting a flue liner is another way to improve the draw of flue systems. It will make the open space in the flue pipe narrower, and narrower chimneys have stronger draw. Very weak flue systems can benefit from a chimney cowl that is designed to improve draw, which will create a huge improvement. However, this option should be avoided if your flue is only a little weak, as it can cause your stove to burn through wood too quickly and produce excess smoke.
